Role: Design lead — UX design, systems thinking, component creation
Team: 1 Senior Product Manager, 3 Engineering teams
Duration: 3 months
Overview
Launched in Q1 2023, this was the first step to unifying caregiver profile data which was inconsistent and fragmented across platforms. A second iteration of this design has since been launched as of August 2024.
TASK
Inconsistent UI made launching and scaling new features expensive
We’ve historically had different implementations of caregiver profiles across mobile web, desktop and iOS. These views varied even more based on the users account status (seeker or provider) and if they were logged in.

APPROACH
Auditing the existing experience
I collaborated with product and backend engineering team to create an audit of the design patterns and data displayed on caregiver profiles across Care's platform. Legacy card sorting and user research informed early design decisions that I validated through user testing.

solution
Unified design of caregiver profiles across platforms
Over the course of several milestones and iterations I created and launched a new seeker view of caregiver profiles, new caregiver edit screens, new safety messaging and features, and updated SEO/ fringe pages. Not only did this standardize design across MW, DT, and APP for the first time in several years, but this also resulted in 40% lift in messaging, profile interactions, and an increase in B-P conversion.
